In simultaneous operations in states of the country, federal and local forces seized cell phones and knives inside a penitentiary center, dismantled narco warehousesthey searched properties with weapons, drugs and other objects of crime, and arrested alleged violators of the law, the security cabinet reported yesterday.
In Sinaloa, in the Aguaruto penitentiary center, they confiscated 11 cell phones and 26 knives. In Culiacán they located three “warehouses” of various materials for the production of methamphetamine, with 3,550 liters of chemical substances. The estimated economic impact on organized crime is 72 million pesos.
Searches and arrests were made in other entities, including Mexico City, Tecate and San Quintín, in Baja California, as well as Mulegé, Baja California Sur, and in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
The Mexican Navy reported the arrest and transfer to the Public Ministry of 22 people in Colima, in an operation in which weapons, vehicles, properties and alleged drugs were also confiscated.
