The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted the progress that the Venezuelan parliament has made, by reaffirming ties of cooperation with the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia, while thanking the support provided in the face of imperial attacks.
«This relationship has been strengthened especially with the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia and its president, Vyacheslav Volodin, with whom we have talked about the need to accelerate the process of building a different world, without oppressors or oppressed. “We appreciate the support for our people, in the face of rude imperial threats,” Rodríguez wrote on his Telegran channel along with a video.
In the audiovisual, the head of the AN indicated that “on October 29, we had a telephone conversation with a friend from Venezuela, a friend of the people of Venezuela, the president of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, our friend Vyacheslav Volodin, where we planned to deepen the meeting and rapprochement between the parliaments.”
Likewise, he explained that the conversation was based on the construction of a different world, “without oppressors and without oppressed.” He also highlighted the importance of the “hegemons” not imposing their aggression on the people.
“We denounce that the people of Venezuela have received, for more than 10 years, attacks of all kinds, of an economic nature, of a political nature, of a conspiratorial nature and now threats of a military nature from the North American empire,” he added.
Likewise, he reaffirmed that the imperial threat seeks a change of Government in Venezuela and to seize natural resources, at the same time he reiterated that they will not allow it.
