In La Mega, Yeferson Cossio also reflected on how difficult it is to do good under the constant gaze of the networks. He told it all!
During the last few days, one of the most talked about collaborations on social networks has been that of the content creator Yeferson Cossio and the renowned influencer Camilo Cifuentesa meeting that many have been waiting for for a long time.
Not only because of the influence and reach of both, but because both have built a career marked by their social commitment and their desire to contribute something positive to the country, each one from their own space.
The meeting, which had been planned for several months, was a topic of conversation in a recent interview with Cossio in La Mega, where the influencer Paisa shared unpublished details about how this collaboration was born and what it meant for him to meet Cifuentes.
“I was going to Manizales, I was going to a friend’s party. Then Zion told me: ‘Do you know Camilo Cifuentes?’ and I answer him: ‘Of course, how not?’ He tells me that he wanted to meet me, that we could talk. And to be honest, I never imagined that he would consume my content, because “It’s not exactly the most educational,” he said between laughs.
Although the first meeting could not take place due to agenda issues, both maintained contact and, according to Cossio, the connection was immediate.
“Later we agreed to meet, and the truth is, That’s where it all came about. Like we both wanted to say it, but we were embarrassed: ‘What if we collaborate?’ “It was very natural,” he added.
The collaboration attracted attention because, unlike many content creators, Camilo Cifuentes does not usually appear on social networks, and that, according to Cossio, is part of the secret of his success: “He is the only one who does not show himself, and that is precisely why people respect him so much. His work speaks for him,” he explained.
What does Yeferson Cossio think about the public exhibition?
The Antioquian creator also took advantage of the conversation to reflect on the impact of the public exhibition and the criticism he has faced for his social work.
“When I started in networks, I did the same thing that Camilo does: jokes, helps, that type of content. But they threw a lot of shit at me. If I helped dogs, they asked me why I didn’t help cats. If he helped cats, why not children. And when he helped children, why not the elderly. There was always a but,” he said.

Cossio also recalled some of the social projects that he has led with his brother.to Cintia, including the complete remodeling of a nursing home.
“With Cintia we practically renovated a nursing home. We gave it 90 new beds, we changed the spaces, we improved everything. And even so, there were people who said that we did it for likes or money,” he mentioned in a tone of frustration. For him, the difference between his experience and Cifuentes’s is in the exhibition.
“They don’t say anything to Camilo because he doesn’t show himself. But the day he does it, they’re going to start telling him that he’s doing it so they can see it, or out of interest. People are tremendous. It’s cruel. And the most ironic thing is that those who criticize these types of things are those who do nothing,” express.
Although the full details of what they are preparing together are not yet known, expectations are growing among their followers, who hope to see a more human and supportive side of the influencer, in the company of one of the most admired activists in the country.
“In the end, everything is about doing good without looking to whom. And if in the process we inspire others, even better,” Cossio concluded.
