The Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, stated that the Special Law of the Command for the Comprehensive Defense of the Nation marks a milestone in the construction of the doctrine, while saying that it is “a dependency according to what is established there that will be attached to the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), with functions of integration, planning, coordination, and control of all the management bodies for the integral defense, which are nothing other than collegiate bodies. that articulate public power and popular power in the territory.
He explained that in this way measures are planned and executed. «What this does is strengthen the law; “that great strategy created by our commander in chief, President Nicolás Maduro, in the popular-military-police fusion.”
He said that this is done under the principle of co-responsibility, which is established and enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic.
«There is no pause here, while they threaten us over there, we continue working unceasingly to build peace, our sovereignty, our independence permanently. As Bolívar said: peace is our glory, it is our reward, everything that is precious in our life; peace and peace; and we will win,” he concluded.
The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ordered this Tuesday the immediate creation of the Comprehensive Defense Commands at the national levelat the level of each state and at the level of the 335 municipalities of the country.
From the Sol del Perú Hall, the head of state promulgated the Law of the Command for the Comprehensive Defense of the Nation, approved by a qualified majority by the National Assembly. Based on article 326 of the Constitution, this regulatory body consists of 22 articles.
«The comprehensive defense commands are very clear about their tasks, their structures and their missions at all stages (…) By signing this law, all the comprehensive defense commands that bring together all the public institutions of the Venezuelan State, the military institution and all popular power must be activated in the early hours of today. So upon signing the order must be activated so that the comprehensive defense commands are instituted, structured and get to work to be prepared (…) So I proceed to affirm and execute the law of the creation of the comprehensive defense commands at the national level,” he expressed.
