A 28-year-old woman was assaulted when she was trying to enter her home in Pilcomayo, on the night of November 1, 2025. According to the prosecutor’s investigation, two subjects, one of them with his face covered and carrying a firearm, intercepted her and seized her cell phone before fleeing towards Coronel Parra Avenue.

In the escape, Pilcomayo Serenazgo personnel managed to capture Jimy Rojas (27), while the second person involved managed to escape.
Following the arrest and the recovered stolen equipment, provincial prosecutor Gina Quispe Solano, of the Fifth Provincial Corporate Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Huancayo, supported the elements of conviction before the Preparatory Investigation Court on duty, which ordered seven months of preventive detention against Rojas for the alleged crime of aggravated robbery.
The accused was transferred to the Huancayo prison while the investigation continues to identify the second person involved.
