The Huancayo Chamber of Commerce (CCH), in alliance with the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions (CONFIEP), Diario Correo and the Continental University will carry out the “VIII Business Congress of the Central Macro Region – CEC Peru 2025”, this December 4 and 5 in the Incontrastable City.
He event will address three key issues for the development of the macro-region: the execution of the New Central Highway, the modernization and internationalization of the Jauja airport and the massification of natural gas, as reported by the president of the CCH, Fanny Galván.
The congress will be developed in four thematic modules, which will address the main economic and business challenges in the center of the country.
On the first day, the topics will be developed in three modules: Regional competitiveness in the current context, Business problems and proposed solutions, and Portfolio of economic activation megaprojects in the downtown economic corridor.
The second day will discuss New Development Opportunities based on the circular economy and green finance.
Speakers from PromPerú, Ministry of Energy and Mines, Caja Huancayo and Universidad Continental, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, ProInversión, Peru Chambers and the Ministry of Housing will participate.
The congress seeks to build a long-term regional competitiveness agenda, based on dialogue between the State, academia and business. To this end, the active participation of ministers, local authorities and representatives of the chambers of Ayacucho, Huánuco, Pasco, Selva Central and Junín is expected, who will contribute to the construction of a common agenda for the region.
