He said that different scenarios and hypotheses have been proposed and are “studied daily.” He indicated that “almost 200,000 troops have been deployed throughout the national territory for this exercise.”
He added that together “the National Armed Forces (FAN), the people, the militia, the citizen security bodies, the police, the risk management system, the entire state system (carry out exercises) to confront an aggression by North American imperialism if the time comes.”
Likewise, he maintained that these actions also combat drug trafficking, armed terrorist groups “that operate and intend to operate on the Venezuelan border.”
