According to preliminary versions, Martínez was traveling on his motorcycle when, for reasons that are still a matter of investigation, he collided with another vehicle on the road that connects Piedecuesta with the capital of Santander. Despite the efforts of first responders to revive him, the 39-year-old actor died at the scene of the accident due to the severity of his injuries.
