The first lady of the Republic, Cilia Flores, affirmed that the Venezuelan people have consolidated an active and deep political consciousness, expressed in every street, community and space of participation, as part of the daily exercise of an authentic, peaceful and sovereign democracy.
During his speech at the meeting with the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the JPSUV, Flores congratulated the people and the national leadership of the red awning for the commitment shown in the assemblies to elect the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees (CBBI). “We see how the popular civil-military union defends the country from all aggressions and attacks, which leads to future peace victories for the population.”
Likewise, the first lady expressed that the testimonies collected in the assemblies reflect a deep understanding of the political process in Venezuela: “In every street, in every region of the country, there is the consciousness of democracy. They said that this is true democracy, which is exercised in our streets. The people are active, organized and committed to collective work.”
Flores stressed that the PSUV represents a unique organization on the continent, with the capacity for sustained growth and territorial coordination. “In the world there is no organization like the PSUV, which has been growing with this structure and we will remain strong and in peace; because in the face of aggression, the response is the unity and solidarity of the people,” he indicated, in addition to adding that what is coming are great victories for the PSUV, which also represent conquests for the Venezuelan people.
