Government orders to raise flag and sing national anthem every Sunday and Monday

The Government of President José Jerí has ​​ordered that the flag and the national anthem of Peru on Sundays and Mondays during the state of emergency in Lima and Callao.

The complementary provision details that all municipal public squares must honor these national symbols on Sundays, November 9 and 16, in the capital.

Likewise, all state entities must comply with said order on Mondays the 10th and 17th of this month. The patriotic event must have the presence of its authorities.

Inside the Supreme Decree 127-2025-PCMit is specified that the raising of the flag and the singing of the national anthem must be carried out on the detailed days and from 08:00 am

The dates correspond to the duration of the state of emergency in Metropolitan Lima and Callao, which was declared on October 21 and will be in force until November 21.
