They denounce massive dismissal in the Equality Fund of the Ministry of Equality

Whistleblowers warn that, in less than a month, more than 90% of the employees were fired.

A group of workers and former workers of the Fund for Overcoming Population Inequality and Territorial Inequality Gaps, known as the Equality Fund, alerted the Ministry of Labor about an alleged collective dismissal that occurred during the month of October in that entity attached to the Ministry of Equality and Equity.

In a communication sent to the Vice Ministry of Labor Relations and with a copy to the Attorney General’s Office, the complainants warn that “In less than a month, more than 90% of the OPS and labor contracts of the Fund were dismissed, creating a collective dismissal as established in article 67 of Law 50 of 1990.”

According to the document, the situation would have arisen after the arrival of the director in charge Anderson Camacho Solano, who took office on October 2, 2025. The workers assure that “on the instructions of the minister, Juan Carlos Florián, and the director of the Fund, The trust did not sign the contracts, instructing the human talent area to communicate the decision without any motivation,” despite the fact that several contracting processes were already in process and about to be signed.

The text also indicates that “more than seven directors of the Fund and two officials of the Directorate were dismissed, leaving their positions and systematically violating the operating regulations.”

In addition, the complainants warn that personnel from the minister’s office had begun to occupy functions within the Fund and that “they began to be linked to more than 50 people through a temporary company, which is not registered in the databases or procedures of the Fund.”

The document questions that these contracts are being carried out through the company Laborando SAS, which, according to the complaint, “it fails to comply with labor standards, since 80% of the current staff is temporarily employed, displacing the work of those who had been carrying out these activities for more than a year.”

Finally, the text points out that “since the arrival of Minister Juan Carlos Florián there has been a direct violation of what is established by the Law and the Decree establishing the Fund,” and requests the intervention of the Ministry of Labor “to visit this institution, verify the facts and restore the rights of the injured workers.”

So far, neither the Ministry of Equality and Equity nor the Agricultural Development Trust (Fiduagraria SA), administrator of the Fund, have publicly commented on the complaint.
