An accident reported this Monday morning in the Avilanian municipality of Venezuela between a bus and a cart caused 27 injuries, of which three were reported to be serious.
Until the closing of this information, 20 people were being treated at the Dr. Antonio Luaces Iraola Hospital, according to statements by Doctor Inés Padrón González, head of the Emergency and Emergency Service.
Three cases were reported “with danger to life and pending to be defined”; two of them “with skull trauma and one, at this time, with a high probability of going to the operating room with an abdominal trauma with free fluid in the cavity.”
The rest of the cases are stable and among them predominate “orthopedic pathologies with bruises of the elbows, knees and feet; small wounds that do not compromise the lives of the patients, which are currently being sutured in minor surgery by surgery specialists.”
Medical attention was also provided at the Venezuela Polyclinic to people with “excoriations, bumps, and bruises.”
