SP: three women die in car accident on Rodovia Imigrantes

A traffic accident resulted in the death of three young women (all between 22 and 26 years old), this Sunday (9), in the Bitaru neighborhood, in São Vicente. At around 7am, a car driven by a drunk man, carrying four other women, lost control on the Imigrantes Highway access loop and fell into a canal.SP: three women die in car accident on Rodovia Imigrantes

Three women died, one of them at the scene. The others were rescued, but did not survive their injuries. The fourth passenger was taken to the São Vicente Central Emergency Room and was released after finding that she had only suffered minor injuries.

The 26-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested after undergoing a passive drunkenness test, which gave a positive result, according to the Military Police.
