On the second day of popular participation to elect the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Councils (CBBI), the social movements of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela elected their representatives in a national consultation that will define the leadership in each community.
The objective of this task is to strengthen the link between popular power and government organizations, in order to speed up the problem-solving processes in each community, with the strength of organized communities.
Yaracuy renews grassroots structures with the election of 9,376 committees
The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv) in the Yaracuy state carried out this weekend the election of 9,376 Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees (CBBI) in the 14 municipalities, in an open consultation process that mobilized militancy and organized people.
The initiative, framed in the political restructuring phase ordered by President Nicolás Maduro, was supervised by the Minister for the Communes and national head of the PSUV for the entity, Ángel Prado, who was accompanied by the regional liaison, Leonardo Intoci.
During the day, Prado verified the assemblies in several municipalities, including a central event in the Triunfo Seguro sector of Higuerón, in the Jorge Rodríguez Padre Commune of the San Felipe municipality, which was accompanied by the mayor of the jurisdiction, Rogger Daza.
The minister highlighted the commitment and massive voluntary attendance of the participants, pointing out that “the objective of the integration of the CBBI is to strengthen the legacy of democratic popular participation and preparation for the popular comprehensive defense of the Homeland.”
The goal in Zulia is to create 35,850 CBBI
This weekend the socialist militancy of Zulia mobilized in the 21 municipalities of the region to elect the corresponding 35,850 Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees (CBBI) in the same number of communities.
In Cabimas, in the H7 community, the process of democratic participation was carried out on Saturday, November 8, in the presence of Pedro Infante, vice president of Organization of the Psuv and appointed by the Red National Directorate to accompany the election of the CBBI in the state of Zulia. Also present were the governor of Zulia, Luis Caldera, as territorial liaison of the party and mayor Frank Carreño, municipal liaison and head of the city council.
According to Infante, all the Zulian municipalities, their parishes and communities were monitored, where the street leaders were organized with the accompaniment of councilors, deputies and mayors. “The people organize themselves with their main spokesperson,” he stressed.
The internal electoral day of the PSUV continued on Sunday, November 9 throughout the region of Lake Maracaibo with the purpose of collectively building the new organizational structure of the governing party that, according to its vice president of organization, will strengthen the popular-military-police fusion.
Anzoátegui continues at the foot of the canyon
The person in charge of the community assemblies in the state of Anzoátegui for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jorge Arreaza, urged this Sunday the street leaders of the eastern state to define one hundred percent the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees.
“The Anzoátegui state began yesterday with its assemblies, but we have to give it strength, we lack it,” said Arreaza, considering that “the important thing is that we have already defined our committees, our teams today and in this way add structures in the party that will emanate from this vote and this trust.”
Miranda rises from the slums
In the La Dolorita parish of the Sucre municipality, Miranda state, assemblies have been held for the election of their Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees, which will allow the establishment of mechanisms for the attention and organization of the communities.
Caracas has assemblies everywhere
Inhabitants of sectors in western Caracas, such as La Cota 905, San Martín and El Junquito, are advancing in their communal organization, this through assemblies for the constitution of the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees in each of their communities.
Aragua lived the process with broad participation
The streets of the Aragua state were spaces for the formation of the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees, in order to continue consolidating the organization in compliance with the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro.
