A new dialogue on green transition between the European Union and Mexico is expected this week.

Following President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s critical reaction to the MEPs’ resolution on the situation of human rights defenders and journalists in Mexico, the European Union (EU) ambassador, Gautier Mignot, said that the relationship remains unchanged, it is based on the dialogue and friendship.

This week, he reported, the EU will launch, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), a new cooperation initiative on the green transition, which shows that the relationship between both countries continues.
