A milestone for animal welfare and sustainable tourism
With the arrival of the first batch of a total of 60 electric cars Cartagena begins a transition that will completely transform a tourist activity inherited from colonial times.

In an area of more than 2,850 m2, the yard – workshop will have all the necessary technology for charging batteries and cleaning vehicles, guaranteeing that electric cars are always kept in the best operating and aesthetic conditions, in line with the heritage and tourist image of Cartagena.
The charging station, powered by photovoltaic energy, with an installed power of 150 kWh; and 244 solar panels on the roof and the structure of the patio-workshop, it will have a simultaneous charging capacity of 60 batteries, ready for immediate exchange.
Chinese teams are already in the city to begin assembly
Technical personnel from the factory in China are already in Cartagena. The teams are ready and are just waiting for the arrival of the container to begin the assembly process inside the hangar built especially for this operation.
The work is progressing so that the 60 cars will be ready to operate on December 15date established for the traditional coachmen to continue providing their service, now under a modern, clean and cruelty-free model.
