Brazil ends Parapan de Jovens at the top of the medal table

After dictating the pace of the podium throughout the event, Brazil closed the Youth Parapan, in Santiago, Chile, this Sunday (9), in first place in the medal table.Brazil ends Parapan de Jovens at the top of the medal table

At the end of the competition, there were five more gold medals and one silver, which gave the country a total of 99 podiums, with 60 gold, 29 silver and 10 bronze. Behind Brazil came Colombia (116 medals) and Mexico (98).

Bocce was the biggest Brazilian highlight on the last day of competitions in Chile. There were three gold medals: BC3 pairs, BC4 pairs and teams (BC1 and BC2 classes).

The other two final gold medals came with men’s blind football and men’s sitting volleyball. The women’s sitting volleyball team took silver.

In total, Brazil was represented by 120 athletes up to 23 years of age.
