TV Brasil launches the fourth season of the highly successful documentary series Parks of Brazil this Sunday (9), at 7pm, with an episode dedicated to the Amazon. The attraction will air on the eve of the opening of COP30, the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which will be held in Belém (PA), from November 10th to 21st.
With six weekly 26-minute episodes, the original production presents a diary of expeditions through the country’s main conservation units. The series reveals exuberant images of the fauna and flora of Brazilian biomes, with an original soundtrack by Flavia Tygel. It will also be available on the app TV Brasil Play.

The series covers national parks recognized as Natural Heritage of Humanity by the UN, highlighting areas of exceptional biological and landscape diversity. Launched in 2018, the program is the result of an institutional partnership between Brazilian Communication Company (EBC)the Casa de Oswaldo Cruz (COC/Fiocruz) and the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio).
“The premiere in the month of COP30 shows the strength of the partnership between the institutions. It is a production that marks our contribution to the public debate on what is most urgent in our time”, adds Pellegrino.
New season destinations
The new season begins its scientific expedition in the Amazon National Park, following the Tapajós River and revealing threatened species such as the jaguar and the ararajuba. Next, the series delves into the marine biodiversity of the Abrolhos National Park (BA), explores the valleys and mountains of Chapada dos Veadeiros (GO), visits the beaches and birds of Fernando de Noronha (PE), tours the dunes and lagoons of Lençóis Maranhenses (MA) and ends with the caves and cave paintings of the Cavernas do Peruaçu National Park (MG).
