The Army confirmed to La FM that there are several injured soldiers and serious damage to the Simón Bolívar Battalion, in Tunja, Boyacá, after the detonation of several explosive devices that had been installed in a dump truck.

Meanwhile, the president Gustavo Petro also referred to this terrorist action, confirming that there are no fatalities, but asked not to let our guard down.
“The attack that was intended to be carried out on the Battalion’s military installations was neutralized. Zero fatalities. Do not lower your guard and hit drug trafficking where it hurts: in their finances, in their illicit merchandise, in its bosses and in its capacity to affect the civilian population”, said Petro in X.
It should be noted that the area is still cordoned off while experts anti-explosives complete the controlled detonation of all devices.
