Tacna: ‘La Oficina’ and ‘La Ñañita’ stores closed for promoting vice

Tacna: 'La Oficina' and 'La Ñañita' stores closed for promoting vice

Inspectors and security guards from the Gregorio Albarracín district, in Tacna, raided two buildings where a pool hall and a restaurant supposedly operated, but they found that they were facades of clandestine canteens and they found drinkers and a large amount of liquor for sale.

Tax Inspection Personnel closed two irregular establishments selling alcoholic beverages. A location was located in the Eduardo Pérez Gamboa association, block E, lot 6 and was advertised as “The Office” pool hall that did not have an operating license. In this establishment, beer and other liquors were sold, it was open until late at night and the peace of the neighbors was disturbed. They also met for board games and loud music.

Without security certificate

The second closed location was located in the Fortunato Zora Carvajal association; It had opened its doors recently and apparently operated as a “La Ñañita” restaurant; it did not have a license or ITSE certificate (Technical Safety Inspection in Buildings) and served customers behind closed doors.

According to the interveners, they confirmed the presence of men and women drinking and several boxes with full beer bottles were found. People were evicted and “Closed” notices were posted on the doors.

Residents of Gregorio Albarracín indicate that bar-type businesses increase daily and young people are the main customers.
