In outstanding work by a police officer belonging to the San Sebastián Police Station (Cusco), a lost case containing a cell phone, cash and bank cards was located and returned.
The exemplary action of the first PNP non-commissioned officer Lander Salcedo occurred while he was carrying out preventive motorized patrol in the vicinity of Vía de Evitamiento avenue, where he found a black cell phone case on the pavement, which contained inside a cell phone, bank cards and the sum of S/ 1,820.00.
Immediately, the non-commissioned officer took the necessary actions to identify and locate the owner of the property, managing to coordinate with the owner, who stated that the case belonged to her husband, who was intoxicated at the time of losing it.
After the respective verifications, The police officers proceeded to hand over the recovered objects in full. The citizen expressed her deep gratitude to the police force for the honesty and commitment shown in the recovery and return of her belongings.
