Dr. Matos Suárez called on the president of the Supreme Court of Justice and the State Attorney to install a Title Registry office to facilitate the access of files on Measurement and Titling that would streamline the legal formality of each owner of property with a tourist vocation.
Matos Suárez maintained that investments are stagnant in this tourist center due to the issue of Titling and assured that hundreds of investors have their sights set on Pedernales but when they encounter the retaining wall of the lack of titles “they stop without restraint.”

In that sense, the criminal lawyer calls on President Luis Abinader to expedite the delivery of titles because the process began more than eight months ago and no one has received anything yet.
He indicated that there are hundreds of investors who arrived in Pedernales and have not been able to carry out transactions due to lack of legal security.
He stated that thousands of inhabitants of Pedernales, Oviedo, Nueva Rosa, Tres Charcos, Juancho, Nueva Esperanza and others, have not been able to sell a meter of land due to the lack of titling.
