CUCEL course on Uruguayan wood
The House of the University of Cerro Largo is inviting people to participate in a new Permanent Education course that will be taught at the institution.
“Wood Uruguay, approach to the industry” is the name of this training proposal open to the entire population that will take place on November 10, 11, 13, 14, 17 and 18.
“Next Monday, a new course begins. Uruguayan wood, an approach to the industry. Here we have teachers, in the case of Valentina Benítez who is an Agricultural Engineer with a Forestry Option and another teacher from the Faculty of Agronomy also comes.” highlighted the Mr. Mauricio De Souza.
“This is in addition to the different courses that have been held this year and also in previous years linked to forestry issues and in this case to wood specifically or to forestry production” he added.

ENDING AN INTENSE YEAR IN ACTIVITIES

“We are closing the year with the courses, from the Social CIO to the Technician in Integrated Agricultural Production Systems and the Technologist in Equine Production that is shared with UTU with classes that are taught at the Educational Pole” De Souza said.

TECHNOLOGIST IN ADMINISTRATION AND ACCOUNTING
This is an educational proposal that is carried out in close connection with the CURE of Treinta y Tres. “We have already been taking exams and midterms here at our University Headquarters” stood out.
“It is a career that has a very interesting demand. This year when registration opened we had more than 80 registered. In addition, it is a proposal that enables students, after completing the Technologist in Administration and Accounting, to continue 2 more years to access a Public Accountant title by taking the exams at the Thirty Three Headquarters” he stressed. “We hope that in due course this can also be done here, in Cerro Largo” said.
“The idea is to continue working to strengthen the Technologist in Administration and Accounting because it seems to us to be a very pertinent proposal that is very suitable to the interior and in this specific case to Cerro Largo” considered the Director of the University House.
