Popular assemblies will elect Bolivarian Base Committees on November 8, 9, 15 and 16

For the election of the Bolivarian Comprehensive Street Base Committees, grassroots popular assemblies will be held in all the streets of Venezuelan territory on November 8, 9, 15 and 16; This was reported this Thursday by the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

“The president [Nicolás] “Maduro has directly assumed this entire new organization,” Cabello indicated, in addition to informing that the militants will nominate candidates with the corresponding profile and characteristics to assume the responsibilities of the Committee.

Likewise, he explained that: “those responsible for going to the states, for collecting each form where the results are consolidated by street, […] They have to come to Caracas and they bring it to me […] There is no transcript. He then appointed those responsible for each state:

  • Amazon: Jocsen Alvarado
  • Anzoategui: Jorge Arreaza
  • Hurry: José Gregorio Vielma Mora
  • Aragua: Francisco Ameliach Orta
  • Barinas: Rodbexa Mercedes Poleo
  • Bolivar: Francisco Torrealba
  • Carabobo: Mervin Maldonado
  • Caracas: Hector Rodriguez
  • Cojedes: Eduardo Piñate
  • Delta Amacuro: Joan Contreras
  • Falcon: Jacqueline Faria
  • Guarico: America Perez
  • La Guaira: Nahum Fernandez
  • Laura: Pedro Carreno
  • Merida: Blanca Eekhout
  • Miranda: Maria Iris Varela
  • Monagas: Tania Diaz
  • New Sparta: Greece Apiaries
  • Portuguese: Julio Leon Heredia
  • Sucre: Yelitze Santaella
  • Tachira: Rander Pena
  • Trujillo: Sergio Lottararo
  • Yaracuy: Angel Prado
  • Zulia: Pedro Infante
  • Guyana Essequiba: Jehyson Guzman

“My brother governors, maximum collaboration with these colleagues appointed by the National Directorate of the High Political Command Party to fulfill a mission of a fundamental nature for the Bolivarian Revolution,” Cabello said.

It should be noted that these Bolivarian Committees are part of the restructuring of the red awning, which now moves from street leadership to collective leadership. “We went from the street leader now to the collective leadership (…) the responsibilities will now not rest on a single person but on the collective.

The Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees will be made up of nine militants chosen by the residents of the community. “That leadership can be fixed, rotating or changed from time to time, but it is from the street, it is not imported, it is not any official from the mayor’s office or the governor’s office, it is from the street, from authentic leadership,” he stated.

Each committee must have “an established operation, a work agenda, an agenda of education and ideological training, preparation for defense and will have the task of organizing revolutionary families,” he concluded.
