In the midst of the confrontation with the alleged invaders; More than a hundred police officers, security guards and authorities from the provincial commune of Puno, during the early hours of this Friday, carried out an operation and demolition of buildings on the marginal strip of Costanera Sur Avenue in the capital of the region.
The agents arrived at Bicentenario Avenue, where using heavy machinery they collapsed several buildings such as walls and houses made of concrete material.
Some alleged owners tried to show resistance by claiming that they have the documentation. In addition, they reported that during this action injured people and dead small animals were reported.
ATTORNEY IS ATTACKED
After the operation, the police reported that The alleged invaders physically attacked the deputy attorney of the Municipality, Ariel Valderrama, who was taken to the health facility.
The complaint was formalized by the attorney general, Guillermo Pizarro. The police, at the municipal precinct, arrested Paulino Attention Mamani as one of the alleged aggressors.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, during the operation, Public spaces were recovered in the marginal strip of Avenida Bicentenario (Section II, at the height of Av. Espinar). The intervention focused on evicting a group of alleged invaders who were illegally occupying state land.
