Extraordinary supreme decree modifies details of the state of emergency in Lima and Callao: these are the measures

After announcing that there would be a change in the state of emergency decreed previously, the Government of José Jerí published an extraordinary supreme decree announcing new actions to Metropolitan Lima and the Callao in the midst of the crime wave that is plaguing the country.

I. Organization and coordination

  1. Permanent Session of CONASEC and security committees.
  2. Formation of the Unified Operational Coordination Command (CCO) and support committees.
  3. District Coordination Committee (CCD).
  4. Intelligence Committee (IC).
  5. Oversight Committee (CF).
  6. Strategic Communication Committee (CCE).

II. Operational measures during the State of Emergency

  1. Penitentiary control and illicit telecommunications.
  2. Integrated forces and territorial control.
  3. Quick response from justice.
  4. Actions against illegal markets linked to crime.
