Two establishments in the center of Huancayo were fined after serious lack of hygiene was detected, following complaints registered in the “Wanka Alert” application.

In the chifa “Zhi-Wan”, located on Paseo La Breña with Jr. Junín, the inspectors found dirty floors and walls, as well as moldy gelatin, for which a fine of S/ 2,675 (50% UIT) was applied.
In the “Botánica” location, in Jr. Puno with Jr. Moquegua, grease and organic waste were found accumulated in the preparation area and under the conservator. This establishment received a penalty of S/ 5,350 (100% UIT).

Municipal authorities reported that they will continue to intervene in premises that do not comply with health standards.
