President of CADE 2025: "Let's vote responsibly in upcoming elections"

The president of CADE 2025María Isabel León, called for us to “reflect, evaluate and vote responsibly in the next elections” that will take place next year.

During the closing of the conference organized by IPAE Acción Empresarial, which took place in Lima, he assured that Peru does not need more diagnoses or regrets, but action that defends freedom, democracy and the right of citizens to build their destiny.

“Let us build our destiny with freedom and responsibility,” he stated and pointed out that economic growth is not born from state control, but from the freedom to undertake, create and believe, as well as to compete and work without bureaucratic obstacles.

On the other hand, he pointed out that justice must be quick, independent and affordable. “No more politicization of justice,” he added.

“We propose a State that regulates less and facilitates more. That protects rights and not privileges. That returns power to citizens and not to bureaucrats,” he highlighted and pointed out the importance of maintaining respect for private property.

Likewise, he indicated that democracy must be defended against populism and freedom against authoritarianism. “To businessmen, academics, young people, authorities, assume your leadership of action with responsibility. Let this meeting be a starting point for a new stage,” he commented.
