The Ministry of the Interior confirmed the arrest of Ángel Marín Morón, known as “Negro Marín”, during an intervention carried out in Spanish territory.
The operation was carried out in coordination between the National Police of Peru and the Madrid Cybercrime Division, as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to official information, Marín Morón is being investigated for his alleged participation in the organization called “Los Sanguinarios de la Comunicación”.
The authorities link him to alleged extortions committed in commercial areas such as Gamarra, Unicachi and Las Malvinas, in addition to illicit activities reported in different parts of Lima and Callao.
The Ministry of the Interior indicates that the detainee would have had disputes with Eric Moreno Hernández, alias “El Monstruo”, previously captured by the authorities. In the information released, his closeness to Adán Lucano Cotrina, alias “El Jorobado”, who is currently deprived of liberty, is also mentioned.
