The exports Peruvian companies totaled US$62,864 million between January and September, which meant a growth of 17.3% when compared to the same period in 2024, reported the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur).
According to the data, agricultural exports reached US$9,709 million, highlighting the record shipment of avocado, cocoa beans, natural dyes and pomegranate. A favorable result was also observed for grapes, mangoes, asparagus, among others.
On the other hand, the fishing sector exported goods worth US$3,853 million, highlighting products such as squid, fish meal, shrimp and fish eggs.
While mining exports added shipments of US$40,923 million, highlighting shipments of gold that reached US$13,930 million, surpassing the record of 2024. Sales of silver, lead, zinc, and copper concentrates also grew.
Other sectors with a positive performance include chemicals, with US$1,412 million, due to products such as explosives, zinc oxide and medicines; and textile clothing, with US$1,292 million, thanks to the increase in shipments of clothing, fabrics and fibers.
China remains the main destination for Peruvian products, with shipments of US$22,910 million, followed by the European Union with US$7,240 million and the United States, with US$6,708 million.
Between January and September 2025, 19 inland regions of the country increased their exports: Huánuco (141%), San Martín (107%), Amazonas (65%), Cajamarca (4%), Junín (59%), Lambayeque (52.7%), Ayacucho (47.4%), Apurímac (38.3%), Puno (37.6%), Madre de Dios (32.5%), Pasco (29%), La Libertad (18.1%), Arequipa (15.8%), Piura (14.9%), Moquegua (14.8%), Tumbes (10.6%), Tacna (9.1%), Loreto (1%) and Cusco (0.4%).
