The United States War Department (USA) reported this Tuesday, November 4, of a new lethal attack against a “drug boat” in the Pacific, indicated, without evidence, to be allegedly operated by a mafia associated with drug trafficking.
“We will locate and destroy all vessels that intend to smuggle drugs into the United States to poison our citizens,” US Secretary of War Peter Hegseth said in a post on his X.
According to several media reports, the Pentagon confirms two alleged dead “drug traffickers.”
According to the official, the attack took place in “international waters” of the “Eastern Pacific,” he added.
With this new bombing, the US adds more than 60 people killed in more than fifteen lethal attacks since President Donald Trump ordered, last August, the deployment of Southern Command forces near the coast of Venezuela in the Caribbean, and more recently in the Eastern Pacific near Colombia, under the false excuse of fighting drugs.
The deployment includes more than eight warships, with 1,200 missiles and 10,000 marines near the Bolivarian nation, which Washington accuses, without evidence and technical reports, of sending narcotics.
President Nicolás Maduro and Colombian President Gustavo Petro strongly condemn these bombings for violating human rights and international legality; and for being contrary to the protocols to neutralize criminal cells.
The Venezuelan government has strongly repudiated the false US operation and its lethal attacks, and warns that this illegal advance is a preamble to a military invasion against Venezuela, with which axes of imperial power try to impose a government subordinate to the interests of Washington.
