President Maduro called for a prolonged continental resistance against US imperialism and assured that “if Venezuela were touched it would be a voice of the united people; all of Latin America and the Caribbean in a single voice of popular and prolonged resistance.
In his opinion, the most just idea is being defended, which is the idea of peace and stability and the right to comprehensive development,” he expressed in the V Congress of the PSUV and the 4th Congress of the Youth of the PSUV (JPSUV)which culminated this Tuesday at the Bolívar Theater in Caracas.
“Sometimes I think that the idea of imperialism, of colonizing Venezuela, really, they become imbued with an idea and warm their heads with articles, reports, psychological warfare, cognitive warfare… Today in imperialism there are no reasonable sensible minds,” he said.
«The United States is convinced that a time of new colonies has arrived; yes, he believes it. He believes that it is time for supremacism, and that the people of the South have to pay homage to a ‘superior race’ that governs North America. “Well, they are not going to take away our dignity from us Venezuelans!” concluded the national leader.
In this sense, he indicated that cognitive warfare is what prevents hegemonic countries from understanding the true essence of Venezuela and its determination to be a free nation.
The head of state urged to do “everything and more” to guarantee that the nation is an “impregnable country, untouchable in its decorum, its dignity, its territorial integrity and its right to independence.”
He assured that the eyes of the world are on Venezuela “as a worthy and victorious example of fighting for peace, and of never giving up our dignity, our values, our principles,” he said.
In this sense, he highlighted three important statements that were made this Tuesday, one of them was that of Pope Leo XIV, who has called for dialogue between the United States and Venezuela to seek solutions and preserve peace, for which he thanked the Supreme Pontiff.
He also thanked the UN Office of Human Rights Experts for the statement against the threats and use of military force against Venezuela, as well as President Lula Da Silva, who has raised his voice with a strong message for peace in South America.
Psuv tool of the State
Maduro insisted that the PSUV has the permanent role of training, in deep union and real action in the daily life of society.
He considers that the party must have the capacity to outline the direction and lines of action of the State, the people and the entire Venezuelan society in any situation that arises, to guarantee the foundations and real bases of the Republic and its institutions, “but above all, the existence and life of our people,” he highlighted.
He proposed before Congress that the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees (CBBI) be formed in the 264 thousand streets of the country, with at least nine spokespersons elected by assemblies, and that they assume the commitment to develop precisely the values, direction, leadership, and comprehensive preparation of the Homeland for defense.
He also urged to purge all the bureaucratic and corrupt methods and structures that exist in the mayors and governorates. “We have to win that battle.”
