“Secretaries, take the opportunity to get vaccinated, let them be the example, we want fewer diseases at the end of the year,” said the president.
The Secretary of Health, Nadine Gasman, explained that for the start of this winter season, the government of Mexico City has already allocated 2.4 million vaccines against influenza and more than 900,000 against covid-19 and 400,000 against pneumococcus to all health centers.
He clarified that the Moderna vaccine will be applied to the general population and the Pfizer drug will be applied to older adults.
“You can get vaccinated in all health centers, the vaccine is safe and free, the idea is that when the cold weather comes, everyone is protected,” he said in an interview.
