They dismantle a camp dedicated to illegal gold extraction in Bolívar

The Strategic Operations Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) reported that within the framework of Operation Roraima 2025, troops assigned to the Caroní River Rapid Reaction Unit (URRA) proceeded to destroy an illegal gold extraction camp, located in the state of Bolívar.

Through his Instagram account, Hernández Lárez detailed that military personnel, aboard six logistics vessels, carried out a river patrol in the Chiguao River, achieving the infiltration of ground combat elements, which allowed the location of a field dedicated to the extraction of gold material and a (01) logistics barracks, which was destroyed.

He added that at this site tools and equipment used for illegal mining activities were located, among which three hundred (300) meters of high-pressure hose of different diameters, five (05) sieve-type structures, twelve (12) motor pumps, seven hundred (700) liters of diesel fuel, fifteen (15) drum-type plastic containers with a capacity for two hundred (200) liters, two (02) electric plants were located. and forty (40) Liters of SAE 50 maxi diesel oil.
