Rio hosts the largest innovation event in the health sector in Latin America

Fliparacatu brings together 63 national and international authors

With the expectation of bringing together ten thousand participants, including two thousand executives, Fisweek25, the largest event on innovation, creativity and health trends in Latin America, begins this Wednesday (5), in Rio de Janeiro. There will also be 700 speakers present, representatives of 1,200 companies and at least 180 startups in the sector.Rio hosts the largest innovation event in the health sector in Latin America

Fisweek25 is an initiative by FIS, the largest health community in Latin America, which has a network of more than 40 partner companies and entities. FIS is a non-profit organization that aims to expand access to public and private healthcare and will be held at ExpoRio Cidade Nova, in the central region of the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

The event has a structure of 14 stages, in addition to more than 300 panels. Topics such as Well-Being and Longevity; Industrial Complex and R&D; Education, Ethics, Regulation and Health Law; and Experience, Journey and Engagement in Health will be on the agenda.

Sue Ann Clemens, the Brazilian infectious disease specialist who led the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine trials during the pandemic; and doctor and gerontologist Alexandre Kalache, former director of the World Health Organization and global reference in active aging are among the participants.

Also participating in the event are institutions such as: Todos Juntos Contra o Câncer, Brazilian Society of Nephrology (SBN), Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (SBPC/ML), Forum Pediatrics, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), National Cancer Institute (Inca) and National Academy of Medicine.
