The body was found about six meters from the riverbed, in a remote area, with traces of blood on the head and hands. Similar stains were also found on a nearby stone. According to his relatives, Víctor had left the house heading to the cemetery and did not return.

The discovery was made by a shepherd, who alerted the residents of the sector and they, in turn, reported the fact to the Serenazgo personnel and the National Police. The victim was wearing blue jeans, a brown fleece-type sweatshirt and a single yellow shoe.
