Two women were arrested during an inspection operation at the Punta de Piedra Citizen Assistance Post (PAC), located in the state of Barinas, for transporting drugs in a public transport vehicle from San Cristóbal.
The seizure was carried out with the support of the canine “Troya”, who detected the packages hidden both in the detainees’ belongings and in their private parts.
In total, two packages weighing 522 grams were seized inside the bags and two others weighing 670 grams that had been hidden intravaginally.
In another procedure, a man was arrested in the PAC Peracal, Táchira state after the seizure of ten wrappers of an illicit substance, weighing four kilos, seven hundred and ninety-five grams that he had hidden in packages of ground coffee.
Both procedures were notified to the Public Ministry, as reported by the National Anti-Drug Command of the Bolivarian National Guard through its official account on the Instagram network.
While in Caracas, officials from the West Anti-Drug Investigations Coordination arrested Abraham Jesús Peña García (22), on Sucre Avenue, La Tinajita sector, Sucre parish, Libertador municipality, for marketing and distribution of psychotropic drugs in the community.
