The death of a young woman in Cali after a drinking challenge sparked an alert about excessive alcohol consumption at parties and clubs.
The death of María José Ardila, The 23-year-old girl who died after ingesting a large amount of liquor in the middle of a challenge, set off the alarms of the health authorities of the department of Valle del Cauca.

Health authorities reiterated that acute alcohol poisoning is a medical emergency that requires immediate attention.
