A 30-year-old man killed a 21-year-old in a field, located in the outskirts of Montevideo, after his motorcycle was stolenreported the Canelones Police Headquarters. The man was arrested.
The victim was lying inside a tent when she was found by local police.
The events occurred after an argument in which the 30-year-old man claimed for the theft of his vehicle. As none of those present were responsible for the theft, he decided to attack the young man, who was taken to Las Piedras Hospital with a chest wound, where he finally died.
Prior to the murder, the detainee was in the tent with a woman. When he left, he noticed that his motorcycle was gone and he was on his way to look for a knife, sources from the investigation reported.
The case is being investigated by the Canelones Homicide Department.. The prosecutor in charge of the investigation is Valentina Sánchez.
