The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that a cambuche belonging to the armed terrorists and drug traffickers of Colombia (Tancol) was located in the Tres Bocas sector, Jesús María Semprúm municipality, Zulia state, which was completely destroyed.
Through his social networks, Hernández Lárez indicated that this operation was carried out within the framework of Operation Catatumbo Lightning in the Binational Peace Zone, in patrol, reconnaissance and scrutinizing missions, using a mixed combat Rapid Reaction Unit (Urra), made up of members of the Fanb and Citizen Security bodies (OSC).
During the procedure, rifle-type firearms, a significant amount of unfired cartridges of different millimeters, bracelets alluding to the 33rd Front of the FARC and clothing used by these Colombian groups were seized.
After this discovery, Hernández Lárez stressed that the Venezuelan nation is a territory of peace and that it is not for sale, “it is not sold, nor is it rented, sovereignty is respected!”
“The Fanb will not allow groups associated with drug trafficking to try to cross borders to use our platform territory,” he assured.
It should be noted that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces have been carrying out patrol work to protect the peace of the national territory, as well as fight with the mafias of drug trafficking.
