Please note: There will be no regional peak and plate this holiday Monday on the road to Llano

He Ministry of Transportation announced that this holiday Monday the regional peak and license plate measure will not be applied for drivers traveling from Villavicencio to Bogotá, via the Llano road, in order to facilitate the return of travelers during the closure of the holiday weekend.

The decision was communicated by the entity through its social networks, where it explained that the measure seeks to guarantee a safe, agile and orderly return for thousands of citizens who visited the department of Meta during the weekend, within the framework of the traditional festivities of the region.

The Ministry reiterated the call to drivers to travel with caution and responsibility, especially due to the high traffic flow expected on the road to the Llano.

Among the recommendations are:

*Plan your departure time in advance

*Check the mechanical conditions of the vehicle

*Follow the instructions of the road and traffic authorities.

Likewise, the Ministry recalled that the restriction schedules for cargo vehicles weighing more than 3.4 tons are maintained, which will apply this holiday Monday between the 10:00 in the morning and 11:00 at night, as part of measures to prevent congestion and reduce the risk of accidents.

The authorities invited travelers to stay informed about the status of the road through the official channels of the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI), Invías and the Directorate of Transit and Transportation of the National Police, and to report any eventuality during the journey.

With this measure, the National Government seeks to favor vehicle flow and avoid damming in one of the most important corridors in the country during high traffic days.
