Juan Carlos Escotet's son died in a nautical accident

Juan Escotet Alviárez, youngest son of Juan Carlos Escotet, founder of Banesco, died as a result of a boating accident that occurred in Los Cayos, Florida, United States.

According to information from the National Organization for Rescue and Maritime Safety of the Aquatic Spaces of Venezuela (ONSA VENEZUELA), to which the family belongs, the young man died after falling into the water during a fishing tournament on Saturday, March 12.

According to local media reports, he died when he was hit by the propeller of a boat when he was trying to rescue his partner from the water, who had fallen after a trip.

His father is the founder of Banesco in the country, and president of Banesco Internacional with presence in the United States, Panama and Spain.
