According to the authorities’ report, there were more than 500 motorcycles immobilized, 40 vehicles immobilized, around 800 summonses imposed for traffic violations. The Police made 32 arrests, in addition to this, more than 160 knives were seized.
“We can say that there is a good balance. Large concentrations of motorcycles were avoided, accompany commercial places to ensure that there were safety conditions and tranquility so that people could enjoy these festivities,” said the Secretary of Security and Coexistence of Medellín, Manuel Villa.

The previous year, for this date of the Halloween celebration, the authorities immobilized more than 400 motorcycles for poor parking and lack of documentation, while 36 knives were seized. Furthermore, more than thousand summonses for violations of traffic regulations and a person was captured for attacking a public servant.
