This Friday, flight No. 82 of the Great Mission Vuelta a la Patria landed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport of Maiquetía, with a new group of 283 Venezuelan migrants repatriated from Texas, United States. This group included 220 men, 54 women, 5 boys and 4 girls.
It should be noted that the reception of the compatriots was in charge of officials from the various citizen security organizations such as: the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigations (CICPC), the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), among others.
It is important to mention that since the resumption of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria last February of this year, more than 16 thousand compatriots have returned to the country as part of the State’s effort to support Venezuelans who are detained and persecuted in the United States.
After disembarking, migrants repatriated in Venezuela go through an immigration tunnel, where each person is interviewed to review their case; They then receive medical attention from the institutions of the Bolivarian Government, and then are transferred to their homes by security agencies.
Finally, the Venezuelan Government reiterates its commitment to the protection and well-being of its citizens, facilitating their return and ensuring that they receive the necessary attention upon arriving in the country, as indicated by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the Sectoral Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón.
