National Guard supplier affirms that it resolved observations from the Audit

In relation to the report of the Superior Audit of the Federation (ASF) that reviewed two contracts to provide email and data protection services for the National Guard during 2024, the company NetControll Group clarified that the observations were resolved and thus complied with the characteristics of both agreements.

In a letter, the firm referred to the information published on October 24 in this newspaper, regarding the ASF report of that year, based on a compliance audit of information and communications technologies.

He said that the newspaper stated that companies hired by the corporation for the security of the email and data protection systems failed to comply with the contracts they signed, and that NetControll Group was mentioned in particular.

This, he added, based on the compliance audit of information and communications technologies number 2024-5-36H00-20-0147-2025 carried out on the National Guard by the ASF.

“It is the case that in the development of the audit carried out by the ASF that can be verified in the domain (https://informe.asf.gob.mx/Documentos/Auditorias/2024_0147_a.pdf), it was resolved that the omissions were resolved in compliance with the observations in the contracts that were audited by the ASF” in two resolutions.

One, he added, referring to the contract for the protection of the internal network, servers and computer equipment for the National Guard GN-CAF-DGRM-C164-2023 valid from October 14, 2023 to March 31, 2025 and that, in section 6, subtitled “Technical compliance of services”, the ASF states that “the technical documentation (contract, technical annex, deliverables, among others) was reviewed. others) to verify that the supplier complied with the characteristics of the contract.”

The second, on the email encryption of the National Guard GN-CAF-DGRM-C163-202, valid from October 14, 2023 to March 31, 2025, and that in its section 5, on service compliance, the ASF reported that “the technical documentation (contract, technical annex, deliverables, among others) was reviewed to verify that the provider complied with the characteristics of the contract.”

In his clarification he offered to expand the information in this regard, “which in addition to being extensive in its technical language, several pages would be necessary to express full compliance” with both contracts with the National Guard.
