Santo Domingo.- The president Luis Abinader delivered this friday 551 titles ownership in the project Lots and Services of Sabana Perdida, Santo Domingo Norteto more than 500 families who for more than 40 years were without the document.
“Having a title in your hand and totally free, is priceless, only a president who is close to the people can do that.”said Jeimy Rodríguez, president of the Lotes y Servicios 1 neighborhood association, who also applauded the Government’s contribution to the development of her municipality.
The head of state reiterated that these acts represent the best investment for economic and social development and, above all, for the peace of mind of thousands of families in all corners of the country. For this reason, the degree is, and will continue to be, a mark of this government.

To date, its management has delivered more than 140 thousand title certificates.
For his part, the Minister of Housing and Buildings, Carlos Bonilla, stated that with these acts the Government demonstrates its commitment to the people, changing lives and opening the way to a more prosperous future, also recognizing the hard work of the impacted families, who for decades built a home and a great community.
“These titles are not a simple piece of paper, these titles represent the certainty of one’s own home, the possibility of accessing credit, of inheriting with peace of mind and of looking to the future with hope.“concluded Bonilla.
With this act, there are 920 titles delivered by the Ministry of Housing and Buildings (MIVED), under the mandate of President Abinader.
In addition, the legal and advisory expenses were assumed by the institution, which during the last two years, integrated with the Lotes y Servicios community to satisfactorily conclude the census processes, regularization of files, signing of contracts and transfers.
Previous deliveries
In 2023 and 2024 the Ministry of Housing and Buildings delivered 100 Housing titles; 30 in Manoguayabo and 85 in Cancino and Juan Pablo Duarte. This 2025, in addition to the 551 titles in Sábana Perdida, 80 have been distributed in Bayaguana, Monte Plata province, and 74 in Villa Liberación, Bonao, for a general total of 920 titles delivered.This article was originally published in The Day
