A criminal killed and two police officers injured is the preliminary result of a confrontation that occurred on Thursday on the main avenue of Caigua, a rural area of the Simón Bolívar municipality (Barcelona), Anzoátegui state.
The information was aired on the social networks of Polianzoátegui, the security body that carried out the procedure. The director of the aforementioned organization, Orlando Velázquez, reported that the two affected police officers were taken to a health center, where one of them will undergo surgery due to a projectile in the face, while the other uniformed officer remains under medical observation.
The injured criminal was captured by the community and handed over to police officials who took him to a health center where he died. The other two criminals fled in the middle of the brawl, says Polianzoátegui’s report.
