Cesar Acuna He will run for president for the third consecutive time. The former governor of La Libertad and former mayor of Trujillo made his candidacy official for Alliance for Progress. On the presidential stage he will be accompanied by the former president of Congress Alejandro Soto and Jessica Tumi in the respective vice presidencies.
As indicated by the National Electoral Directorate (DINAE) of the party, the list was registered to compete in the Primary Elections before the pertinent electoral bodies, which will be carried out under the modality of election by delegates.
