“(…) today, I am giving you the scoop, two drug trafficking ships that came from the north entered and, using our intersection law and protocols of international law, Venezuelan aviation neutralized them,” said President Nicolás Maduro, who expressed that in this way the State “exercises its sovereignty.”
Without giving further details, the national president recalled that in recent days a aircraft was also disabled by the Armed Forces, in full exercise of national sovereignty, reported then the Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.
“Exercising our sovereignty, which is exercised by our military, police and the people,” said Maduro, while highlighting that sovereignty that is not exercised is lost.
President Maduro made these statements from the “De Cara Al Río” Commune, in the Brisas de Petare sector, in the state of Miranda, where works completed with the National Consultation on July 27 were delivered.
Fanb destroyed drug trafficking base in Apure
This Wednesday, it was also learned that the military located and destroyed a logistics camp used by drug trafficking located in the state of Apure.
Details of that operation were aired on the Instagram account of General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez, who is in charge of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb).
The aforementioned logistics camp was located specifically on the San Felipe farm, sector CapanaparoRómulo Gallegos municipality (Elorza), of the Llanera entity.
