Regarding the Great Mission Mother Earth Venezuela, the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism activated the National Registry for the Comprehensive Garbage Management Plan for the 335 municipalities and 24 governorates of the country.
The main objectives of the registry include: accurately determining the quantity and composition of solid waste generated in each population center; update collection routes, inventory of machinery and systems until final disposal, as well as build the National Comprehensive Plan that will optimize waste management throughout the national territory.
The Comprehensive Plan will have the active participation of the five thousand 336 Ecosocialist Councils that are formed throughout the country, in order to strengthen the community and territorial approach to environmental management.
For the sending of information by government authorities, the emails have been arranged: [email protected] and [email protected], through which the Ministry for Ecosocialism will compile the national data.
It is worth noting that this initiative is part of the sixth vertex of the Great Mission Mother Earth Venezuela, Sanitation for Life, to reduce the amount of waste, promote reuse and take advantage of materials in a planned manner.
